Call for help in Louisville, Mississippifor Tornado Victims!

Sarah Beth Jones with the Foreman Perry Watkins, Krutz & Tardy law firm and a fellow Mississippi Defense Lawyer Association member shared a personal call for help for her home town, Louisville, Mississippi (Winston County) which was badly hit by tornadoes Monday afternoon.

The damage to the town is extensive; they are projecting that more than 300 homes were destroyed, and the Winston Medical Center (which includes the emergency room) was extensively damaged as well.   If anyone would like to help, First Baptist Church in Louisville is sheltering those who lost homes, as well as serving as the Red Cross headquarters in town.  The following are items which are in need:

·         Undergarments for men, women, boys and girls

·         Sweatpants and t-shirts

·         Toilet paper

·         Any kind of personal hygiene products

·         Finger foods/snacks

·         Baby wipes/diapers

·         Garbage bags

·         Towels/bed linens

Also, if anyone would like to make monetary donations to the Winston County tornado relief effort, those can be made through the Winston Community Development –

By mail:                Winston Community Development
