Mark was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 25, 1968. Mark received his B.A. in 1991 and his J.D. in 1995, both from the University of Mississippi. His primary areas of practice are in civil litigation, workers( compensation, labor and employment, environmental law and insurance defense. Mark is admitted to practice in Mississippi, U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
While in law school Mark served as a member of the Mississippi Law Journal from 1993 to 1995 and was the Associate Legislative Review Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal from 1994 to 1995.
