Ben received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2009 and was admitted to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee the same year. His primary area of practice is civil and criminal litigation. Before joining Holcomb Dunbar, Ben worked in the legal department of a large Mid-South healthcare provider. Ben currently serves as the Secretary for the Lafayette County Bar Association.
While in law school, Ben served as a judicial intern for U.S. District Court Judge Michael P. Mills of the Northern District of Mississippi in 2007 and 2009. Ben also served as Vice President of the Law School Student Body, Senator, and chairman of various student committees. He received the Outstanding Student Award for Civil Procedure II and was a finalist for the Tom Mason Award in Federal Trial Practice.
In 2006, Ben graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.B.A. in Marketing. At Ole Miss, he was a graduate of the Chancellor’s Leadership Class and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Ben is originally from Memphis where he attended Memphis University School. He continues to serve MUS as a member of the Eugene Thorn Emerging Leader’s Society.
